Vhi Healthcare Wins the Financial Service Category Award at the
Inspired I.T. Award Event in the Burlington Hotel

25th October 2007 – Vhi was awarded an Inspired IT Award in the category of Financial Services.  The Inspired IT Awards were set up to recognize the strategic role of IT in helping to drive competitiveness and place Ireland at the forefront of knowledge creation and IT innovation globally.

Vhi won the award for its Online Policy Manager facility which represented a major development for corporate and group customers.  This web based system provides customers with a secure 24 hour, real time self service facility to access policy information and to make changes to their policies. It provides corporate schemes with a simple cost efficient way to manage group scheme activity. This facility has been
extremely well received and will continually be rolled out to other customers.

Vhi was highly commended by the judges on the overall vision of Policy Manager, a cross functional partnership between business and I.T. which led to a high degree of ownership across the organisation. They also commended the product itself for the significant benefits it brings to the Corporate Sector.
